Junior High and High School Students
The Global Houston Model United Nations (GHMUN) program invites high school and middle school students to step into the shoes of global leaders. Students will represent an assigned country and committee, and Delegates will be tasked with solving pressing international issues. GHMUN offers a series of lead-up sessions and workshops designed to build and sharpen skills while providing essential knowledge to thrive as a Model UN delegate. On conference day, sessions will include a review of debate strategies and diplomacy, and guidelines on constructing position papers. While session attendance is optional, they offer invaluable tips and support to enhance the overall MUN experience and success setup for students.
University Students
College and university students are welcome to participate in GHMUN as secretariat members or committee chairs. Secretariat members oversee the operation of the entire conference, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Committee chairs will guide debates, manage delegates, and foster productive, dynamic sessions.
